Hardware-based Optibase MovieMaker 400 encodes a single channel at FD1 resolution or simultaneously encodes two high-quality MPEG-4 HD channels at bandwidth-efficient low and midrange bit rates and CIF resolution, generating up to three encoded streams at different bit rates for each source. A compact low-profile PCI form factor makes it easy to install in any off-the-shelf PC and up to 6 Optibase MovieMaker 400 boards can be combined in a single PC for a total of 36 encoded streams from 12 different sources.
Optibase MovieMaker 400 supports ISO and ISMA-compliant streaming over IP networks for compatibility with commonly used players such as Real One, QuickTime and Windows Media Player. It is ideal for archiving, monitoring, news gathering and training applications. A feature-rich SDK enables fast, easy integrate of Optibase MovieMaker 400 into a wide range of solutions.
