Introduction
The PANEL1178-841 is powered by a high performance Intel® Core™2 Duo processor with the Intel® Q965 Express chipset. The PANEL1178-841 adopts a rugged industrial-grade front bezel, and is equipped with a 17" SXGA TFT LCD with a resolution of up to 1280 x 1024 pixels. With only 86mm in thickness, the PANEL1178-841 can be applied in space-limited harsh environments. Its applications include wireless self-service points, interactive kiosks, and building automation. The modern industrial-grade front bezel is NEMA 4 / IP65 compliant with the advantages of light weight, high degree of hardness, good heat releasing, easy-to-shape, and anti-corrosion ability to be designed to work in a wide range of environments and heavy-duty industrial fields. The PANEL1178-841 features a built-in speaker for multimedia use. It also supports a WLAN module & antenna (optional) for wireless connectivity. This durable panel computer also supports two 2.5" HDD or one 3.5" HDD for high-capacity storage. Other I/O advantages include dual Gigabit Ethernet, three COM ports, four USB 2.0 ports, a DVI-I connector, Line-out/Mic-in, two Firewire (IEEE 1394a), and PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports.
