DS1620-1MS is designed with 3U height chassis and 16 HDD bay. It is connected by host computer with 1 mini SAS external interface of 12Gbps. It support 16*SATA with PM technology. It is suitable for solutions requiring fast transmission rate.

High Availability of Data Protection
The most obvious feature of DS1620-1MS is its modularization design, with its power supply,fan, controller, memory all in separate modules. In virtue of the redundancy that is provided by the variable modules, power supply and fan, it can improve the reliability of its functions.

DS1620-1MS offers 16 HDD bay, supporting the SATA HDD interface of all capacities that are available in the market.

Real-Time Detection & Monitoring
DS1620-1MS provides real-time detection on the voltage of the power supply module and the temperature.It can intelligently regulate the rotation rate of the fan according to the temperature. Real-time alarm is available when malfunctions detected.

Flexible Installation
DS1620-1MS supports standard 3U rackmount.

Modularization: easy to maintain
Hot swappable fans, power supply, controller ,swappable cartridge modules inside the chassis is easy to install and maintain. The connectors are of high reliability , especially the connector VHDM for connecting the controllers.

LCM Management
The status of LED Display clearly shows the states of fan, temperature, voltage,power supply and alarm info, ect.

Highly Intelligent
Intelligently monitor the temperature and regulate the rotation rate of the fan according to the temperatures so as to prolong the fan’s useful life. Besides, it helps to realize the cooling of the chassis and the decrease of the noise at the same time.
Dual-power supply load balance technology ensures the load balance of two power supplies. When one power supply is out of work, the other one take its place so as secure the normal operating and protect the data.
HDD is electrified and detected by group so as to decrease the conflicts of electric currrents.

Silent Mode
This function is customized for desktop users.To debase the noise is a prior function of this mode.When the temperature exceeds the default degree, it will automatically changes to the silent mode so as to protect the device.
